Many of the College’s distinguished alumni who are lawyers or work in the financial sector will be present. This will be a great opportunity for you to meet and ‘network’ with Girtonians who are working in these fields and all students from every subject are welcome.
After a short guided tour of the Slaughter and May offices, there will be an additional special careers Q and A session, for Girton students only, with a small group of distinguished alumni ahead of the main networking event. The idea behind this is to give students a chance to hear, in a bit more detail, stories of pathways to success and to provide an additional opportunity to ask questions in a relaxed and informal setting. The event is free and we encourage you to attend. There will be a coach for free travel to and from the event.
Places are filling up fast so book soon to prevent disappointment. Please also indicate whether you wish to travel on the coach and where your pick-up preference is. If you ask for a place to be reserved on the coach it is essential that you let us know immediately if there is a change in your circumstances and you find that you are not able to attend the reception after all.
We very much hope that you are able to join us.
With all good wishes,
Stephanie Palmer, Stelios Tofaris and Shona Wilson Stark
Fellows and Directors of Studies in Law
